| The Agreement Between Arctic Sun and Sister Moon |
The Arctic Sun is a pretender and has a false face. She is round and yellow But is a cold Sun. Not a warm Sun, hot Sun. A cold Sun, distant Sun. Because she is vain, Sometimes she is warm, but only to keep her name. If she were always cold, we would have to call her Arctic Moon and she does not want to be called Moon. The Arctic Sun hates Sister Moon The Moon runs from Arctic Sun. They do not like to share heaven's firmament. They can not share the earth. They will not share people's adoration. So they agreed. In Summer tyme, the Sun reigns. In Winter, Moon fills the sky. Such is the agreement between Arctic Sun and Sister Moon. |
