The Landscape of Behind

The sun arose with a new day
and I will no longer cherish
the pains of the past.

I will
look, look forward
and see with a fresh eye
with resolution in mind.

No longer treasure old wounds
and if someone hurts me,
drop it on the ground
And
walk, walk forward on the new path of today.

Once dropped behind,
It becomes a rock,
an old twig,
or maybe
it will grow into a flower,
or turn into a river, an ocean,
or a mountain................but,
it will be behind me
and if I want to see it again,
all I have to do is
look, look back again.
