I love the hazy gray daze of winter in the Arctic
The snow piles high and lays
Like a rumpled blanket over the village.
Mounds of snow, creeping snow, comforting snow
With summer warm beneath it all.
I love your blue, black eyes blinking
In the brightness of your face
Against the dark hair that lays
Rumpled falling over your shoulders
Mounds of hair, creeping hair, comforting hair
With love warm beneath it all.
