Return
The First Snow
Every year at this time by the window,
i watch for the first snow,
the only gift i use to know,
like a sign of His love for me to throw.

But this year it came too early,
and i had nothing to watch expectantly,
nothing to sigh for or to worry...
when suddenly

A sky blue light
Sharp At midnight
Rays dance at first sight
Crossed the night

And i saw what i could not miss
The aurora borealis
Spendor of splendors blue mist
Of His infinite love to sift

He surprised me again
Took away all my pain
And quickly darkness regained
After showing me He still remained
