| The cool blue days enrich my view of life. They keep my wants and needs in perspective. The balance comes when I realize that material things are only as important as their ability to burn and make a fire. |

This is a world in the winter as seen from within the fur-lined hood of a homemade parka. It is a warm world inside my hood. The crisp wind tickles my eyebrows and bites my nose. If I open my mouth and blow out the warmth, it turns into a misty fog Then lays like crystals on the fur to glisten around my face. I am warm inside this fur coccoon And satisfied with what I see. If I face the wind, the corner of my eyes crystallize and it makes me smile. I love the life from within the womb of my homemade parka. |
